The Eugene Middle East Peace Group urges the United States to shoulder its full responsibilities in bringing an immediate halt to the violence, leading the Israeli and Palestinian people to the discussion table, and facilitating the creation of a just and peaceful two-state solution.The presence of the United States must provide a visionary process of constructive measures guaranteeing a permanent resolution to these matters. We urge everyone to support organizations and individuals working for peace and to write government officials, demanding steps be taken toward real progress without delay. -EMEPG
